Exco Resources (Exco) is a copper, gold and uranium exploration company with a number of projects near Cloncurry in north-western Queensland, and a gold project in South Australia at White Dam.
Exco has strategic tenement positions with established resources in the highly prospective Cloncurry base metal territory. The Cloncurry Copper Gold Uranium Project is centred near the town of Cloncurry and envisages the development of satellite mining operations, a central processing plant and associated infrastructure at the Cloncurry site. Resources delineated for the project to date total 34,845,195 tonnes of ore, containing 344,580 tonnes of copper and 347,200 ounces of gold.
Following a joint venture arrangement with Ivanhoe Australia, a strategy is in place to accelerate exploration for new copper/gold/uranium deposits and extensions to existing projects.
